Expert has worked with physicians, hospital systems, and universities in designing and using new forms of health care. He has written several books on the subject. Primary interest is in a new record system where the patients carry their records with them. It is similar to a credit card and can be read and updated at each encounter within the system. Expert originated this concept of a patient-oriented record.

Expert has helped to develop health care systems, new computer memories, and has several inventions to his credit. He has taught seminars for industry at the University of Wisconsin in technical innovation and has written books on the subject. He has directed hundred million dollar programs in research and development for the federal government.

Expert has taught, researched, and advised aspects of physiology at all levels from high school to post graduate medical education. His research has resulted in a treatment for cancer, new steroid analysis, and studies in lung disease in mine workers. He has written textbooks in physiology, advised graduate students, and directed theses.

Expert has written 140 papers and over 30 books in all areas of science and general interest. He has taught technical writing for NASA and the University of Houston. Expert has served as editor and reviewer for many publishers including some of the largest in the field. He is knowledgeable regarding preparing and editing manuscripts of technical material. His versatility is demonstrated by the fact that he has had many feature articles in magazines, newspapers, and trade journals.

Expert is the District Manager of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) providing advice on management, business plans, and operations to the SBA, small business owners, and others. He has written business plans for various companies and provided information on all aspects of business. As District Manager, he oversees some 100 retired business executives handling 15,000 calls and 1200 individual consultations per year.
