Expert has extensive knowledge of the major operations of fruit handling, cleaning, grading, juice extraction, thermal processing, and evaporation and waste disposal. His research has resulted in the compilation of properties and material/safety data for citrus oils and limonene. He is familiar with reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and freeze concentration to juices and processing plant streams and the use of pectolytic enzymes to reduce viscosity in citrus and juice processing. He is knowledgeable of techniques for drying fruit wastes for use as cattle feed.
