Marty has worked extensively on projects involving the repair and maintenance of major infrastructural elements, including roadways, bridges and tunnels. He also has experience in connection with major construction projects involving the engineering and construction of nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, additions and modifications to existing plants, high voltage transmission lines, large and small hydroelectric plants, desalination plants, and computer facilities.

Marty has been involved in projects doing "Gut Rehab," which involves the complete renovation of large-scale apartment complexes. These projects involved the complete renovation of about 1,200 units at one time.

Marty has been involved with program/project/construction management for more than 25 years and experienced diverse spectrum of projects in the electrical utilities, urban housing, bridges/tunnels, airports, and rail facilities. He was in charge of managing projects in total, and oversight responsibilities. Marty has been appointed as a member of the Construction Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association - New York. In this capacity he served on cases involving construction disputes. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of Project Management Institute. He also is Founder and Past Chairman of the New York Consultant's Network of IEEE, and Past (1982-1984), and current (2005) Chairman of Engineering Management Society - New York Chapter (IEEE).


He is a recipient of the IEEE U.S. Activities Board Professional Achievement Award (1988), and the IEEE Region I Award for Service in 1990. He received a Community Service Award from the Manhattan Beach Community Group in 1999.
