He was responsible for all major strategic growth initiatives including the launch of every automotive assembly plant built in North America during his tenure. Expert was also responsible for operations at the largest and most profitable branch and led the turn-around of a struggling branch with a 239% income increase on 4.1% revenue growth in just 9 months. Expert led the merger and integration of three companies and facilitated the acquisition of a fourth, and developed many of the processes, procedures, and documentation for ISO-9001:2000 certification. Expert's focus during this time was driving rapid growth and standardizing best practices throughout the company and automotive assembly plant paint shops throughout the U.S. and Canada. Complex processes and ambiguous metrics were simplified through visual management and error-proofing. Expert also led quality management and process engineering initiatives at several of the world's largest automotive assembly plants averting production shutdowns and resulting in up to a 48% reduction in paint defects and warranty costs.
