Expert is an expert Cognitive Psychologist working in the field of applied research on human thought processes. In lay terms, he conducts research on how people understand, diagnose, and solve problems, concerning themselves with the mental processes which mediate between stimulus and response. In other words he is an expert on “Cognitive Processes”. The term "cognition" refers to all processes by which the sensory input is transformed, reduced, elaborated, stored, recovered, and used.

As part of the larger field of cognitive science, this branch of psychology is related to other disciplines including neuroscience, philosophy, and linguistics.

Expert is the founder of the ‘Neural Optimization Technique,' which is utilized for personality development, attitudinal change and ‘brain re-engineering.'

Expert is a world renowned expert in Cognitive Science. Cognitive science is the interdisciplinary study of mind and intelligence, embracing philosophy, psychology, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, linguistics, and anthropology.

Expert is the recipient of the ‘Cambridge Blue Book Man of the Year' award – 2005 for his contribution to the field of Neuroscience and Cybernetics. His original research is on the psycho-physiological influences on synaptic-pruning and synaptogenesis.

Neuroscience is at the frontier of investigation of the brain and mind. The study of the brain is becoming the cornerstone in understanding how we perceive and interact with the external world and, in particular, how human experience and human biology influence each other. Neuroscience as a distinct discipline separate from anatomy, neurology, physiology, psychology, or psychiatry is fairly recent, aided in large part by the advent of newer, faster computing methods and neuroimaging techniques.

At the cognitive level, cognitive neuroscience addresses the questions of how psychological/cognitive functions are produced by the neural circuitry. The emergence of powerful new measurement techniques such as neuroimaging (e.g.,fMRI, PET, SPECT), electrophysiology and human genetic analysis combined with sophisticated experimental techniques from cognitive psychology allows neuroscientists and psychologists to address abstract questions such as how human cognition and emotion are mapped to specific neural circuitries.

Neuroscience generally includes all scientific studies involving the nervous system. Psychology, as the scientific study of mental processes, may be considered a sub-field of neuroscience, although some mind/body theorists argue that the definition goes the other way — that psychology is a study of mental processes that can be modeled by many other abstract principles and theories, such as behaviorism and traditional cognitive psychology, that are independent of the underlying neural processes.
