Renowned as one of the nation's top negotiation experts, Expert has gone head-to-head against top executives from such global powerhouses as Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Dean Witter, The Commodities Exchange, The Society of Security Analysts, The Gap, JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, HSBC, Marsh and McLennan, Daiichi Kangyo Bank, Allstate Insurance, The Bank of Tokyo, Bank of Taiwan, Duane Reade, McDonald's, Charles Schwab and hundreds of other companies. Expert serves as president of Expert's Firm International Properties Group (IPG) in New York. He has managed one of the world's largest real estate portfolios, which included the World Trade Center in New York. During his 25-year career, Expert has taken part in more real estate negotiations than most real estate professionals in the world today.

Expert sits on the board of directors for the National Kidney Foundation. He maintains active memberships in several professional organizations and chambers of commerce, including CoreNet Global, formerly the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE); The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY); the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR); the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC); and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.

He earned an associates degree in construction management from New York University and a bachelor's degree in architecture from New York Institute of Technology. Expert returned to New York University for his master's degree in real estate development. He is now a doctoral candidate in international business at Pace University.

Manage the overall portfolio of commercial office space and industrial assets of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey which constitutes almost 20 million square feet at a value of over 3.5 billion dollars. The portfolio consists of the World Trade Center, a 110 story, 12,000,000 square foot complex; The Newark Legal Center, a 20-story, 475,000 square foot office tower; Elizabeth Industrial Park, a 46-acre complex; The Teleport, a 100-acre high-tech office park; The Bathgate Industrial Park, a 21-acre site; and the Yonkers industrial Park, an 18-acre asset.

General Manager of Retail Asset Management

 

Supervised the various teams responsible for the asset management of the World Trade Center's retail components which are primarily 75 retail stores, the world famous Observation Deck tourist attraction, the parking operations which handles 2,000 cars per day, the telecommunications network, and all of the related public space. His core responsibilities include managing the strategic plan, leasing, privatization, operations, marketing, financial analyses and budgeting. He was responsible for closing one of the largest retail transactions in New York City and achieving the highest income level in the history of the World Trade Center.

Manager of International Sales and Leasing

 

Responsibilities included the asset management of the office-leasing component of the World Trade Center. He also managed and developed the marketing plan, solicited high level potential clients; prepared in-depth lease proposals, pro formas and various agreements and conducted complex and sensitive lease negotiations with clients from around the world. The team of professionals that he managed was responsible for over 120 major lease transactions.

Primary responsibility was to manage the marketing and real estate development of 1,200,000 square feet of office space for the Teleport, the first high-tech office park of its kind in the United States, which successfully generated a total revenue of $20,000,000 annually.
