Expert is an expert on people's responses to exercise and physical training, as well as the potential role of genetic factors in these responses. He has been actively investigating the relationships between exercise, training and health for over 45 years. He has written extensively on how to test and prescribe exercise for people of all ages (especially the elderly), of differing levels of fitness and activity, and with many different medical problems (for example, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and obesity).

Expert has developed training programs to improve health. These have been developed for (1) healthy people, (2) those with various health problems (heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity) and (3) the elderly. He has done much research on training programs as well as their effects on the body and on health. He has also been involved in a major research study on the influence of genetic factors on one's health and how a person reacts acutely to exercise and chronically to training.

Expert is highly knowledgeable about various aspects of kinesiology, particularly as it relates to exercise, physical education, physical training and health. As a professor in several universities in the US and Canada, he has done research on and written extensively about kinesiology -- the study of how the body moves and what the effects of those movements are.

Expert has studied various components of physical fitness (strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, etc.), especially as they relate to performance, health and aging.
