Summary of Expertise: Listed with other top experts in:
His approach to process validation is that PV begins at the process development phase. A process that is well understood, well defined as per the critical to quality attributes with an understanding of the variable interactions prior to the definition of the ranges for those variables. Part of the process validation exercise involves understanding how each of the unit operations fit within the overall process and what are the expected outcomes of those unit operations. Lastly, but equally important, is the understanding of how the process unit operation fits within the known functional capability of the equipment that is to be employed to consistently meet the pre-determined quality expectations and attributes of the process for that product.
