Expert S. Expert, MD, MS, is professor and chief emeritus of cardiothoracic surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago, and currently professor of cardiothoracic surgery at the University of California San Diego. He has also served as professor and chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Yale University and Case Western Reserve University Medical Schools. His interests are in the treatment of adult cardiac disease with traditional and new surgical approaches, and in optimization of outcomes of cardiac surgery for acquired heart disease.
