As a medical director of various rehabilitation units and programs, he has extensive experience in the medical aspects as well as the business/industry and legal aspects in the field of rehabilitation and physical medicine. For example, he is experienced with providing medical consultation for patients with eating disorders, evaluating the progression and treatment of physical disabilities patients and evaluating and management of chronic pain in patients with disabilities. He is experienced with the development and management aspect of running these rehabilitation units and programs. And he also has experience consulting for a residential brain injury re-entry program.

Professional Appointments

He has held several professional appointments including Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Unit and Physical Rehabilitation at several hospitals including Northridge Hospital, the Medical Center of North Hollywood, and the Mission Community Hospital. He was appointed attending/supervising physician/physiatrist at his local VA medical center, as Co-Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Services at Beverly Manor Rehabilitation Center and as a Medical Staff member at several hospitals. He is currently an Assistant Medical Director at his current hospital and has worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology and Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine at UCLA for four years. He has also served as chairman for the Rehabilitation Sub-Committee and many other committees and as peer Reviewer for the Department of Medicine of several hospital committees.


He was recognized by the GLA/UCLA Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program with a Certificate of Appreciation for “Best” Visiting Consulting Faculty, nominated for the Alumni Professional Achievement Award, and has been named Employee of the Month by the GLA Healthcare and VA center.
