Responsible for worldwide product feature set and pricing, including setting engineering cost targets, calculating COGS, margin analysis and pricing strategies for direct and indirect channels. Business case formulation and evaluation of proposals from internal and outsourced activities for market acceptance, technical merit, schedule impact and cost. Also responsible for life cycle management, supplier management, training and sales support.

Responsible for designing optical networks, i.e., SONET/SDH, ATM, IP, Optical Mesh, and DWDM networks. Played an active role in setting the strategy and interfacing with DWDM, IP, and Metro Ethernet partners in formulating coordinated responses to prospective customers.
