1968 to 1974   India   Expert worked as Scientific Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Mumbai, India, where he conducted R&D on the use of Gamma, electron beam & other high energy radiation in polymerization to produce polyoxymethylene & other polymers and developing composites of wood-polymer composites, bamboo-polymer composites, bagasse-flyash polymer composites, etc. using radiation processing with liquid impregnation of monomer systems to produce 'in situ' polymerization of thermoplastics and thermosets.
1988 to 1992   Global   As General Manager of BP Chemicals' Polybond Products business, he developed & implemented a strategic plan to grow a specialty business unit of BP Chemicals sales 9 times in 6 years. By personally handling international sales & marketing and global new business development, managing operations, developing new applications and new markets and introducing new products, he increased market share in market niche from 17% to 70% and expanded from one overseas customer to sales in 28 countries, using overseas sales offices, agents, distributors and sales representatives for various countries.
