  • He had been retained as an expert by a law firm and an insurance company to provide consulting services in a dust explosion litigation case. The dust explosion occurred in the plant of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., Kinston, North Carolina, which caused multiple deaths and injuries and property damages.This dust explosion incident has drawn a great attention of the US Congress, OSHA and general public.
  • He is working on a Process Safety Management for a Chinese pharmaceutical company. The objective is to bring the PSM standard up to the level of good industrial practice on the global scale. U.A., Conoco Norway Inc., Elf Petroleum Norge A/S, Esso Norge A/S, Gaz de France, Mobil Exploration Norway Inc., Norsk Hydro, Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, N.V. 1986 to 1986   China   He worked as an assistant and a lecturer in Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. He was teaching Chemical Engineering and working on dust explosion research projects, which were sponsored by the Chinese government and various industries. He also participated in several dust and gas/vapor explosion incident investigations including the flax dust explosion in Harbin Linen Textile Factory, Harbin, China in 1987. The linen (flax) dust explosion claimed 58 lives and injured 177 workers, among 327 people working in the plant at that time.
