As Museum Curator for Special Projects, he researched and identified private and federal grants programs for the Division of State History Museums, North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources. Managed educational and long-range exhibit development for the Queen Anne's Revenge shipwreck project and the Museum of the Graveyard of the Atlantic.

  • Expert was contracted by a minority business owner to conduct a feasibility study and assist in the development of a business plan for the creation of a business venture that would serve as a venue for boxing and martial arts competitions, as well as serve as a setting for classes and training in martial arts and boxing for children, youth, and adults. He worked with the client to identify sources of funding (grants and loans) to assist in the purchase of the building, and the specialized equipment necessary for the project.
  • Expert has worked with a number of communities throughout the United States to identify community attitudes toward the arts and arts in education. He developed survey instruments and analyzed data. Expert worked with elected officials and members of the community to develop strategies for strengthening the arts in these communities.
