Hot Isostatic Pressing Experts

The following experts are available as hot isostatic pressing consultants and hot isostatic pressing expert witnesses.  ORC experts are peer-recommended authorities who have been carefully selected and rigorously screened.
Definition:  Hot Isostatic Pressing - Hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is a hot pressing process in which a material, such as ceramic or metal, is subjected to high temperature, and pressure applied equally from all sides. Typical temperatures range up to 2000 degrees F. or greater; pressures are typically 15,000 psi. HIP is a densification process generally applied to powders, but can be used for metal-metal and metal-nonmetal bonding, and elimination of porosity from cast metals.
